Well here it is.....

The eve of the Nebraska State Wrestling tournament and my nephews first appearance. I did this layout for Sheldon and no matter what happens always remember one thing, you are a special and amazing kid and I love you very much.

WITH MY AWESOME NEPHEW!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to Sheldon Boschen a NEBRASKA state Wrestling qualifier. OMG Sheldon, THANK YOU for making this day best ever!! I love ya kid......love ya to pieces and know that I am more proud of you than you can imagine. NO matter what happens at state NO one can take away the fact that you are 2008 NEBRASKA STATE WRESTLING QUALIFIER!! and Uncle Ron and I are sooooooooooo proud of you!! LOVE YOU SHELDON, JESSICA!, BARB and LARRY to pieces!!!



I would also like to congratulate my Bestest friend Tommy (the one in the Orange) a great wrestling coach.......CONGRATULATIONS on your qualifiers as well!! LOVE YOU T!!

to two people who I really enjoy being a fan of......

First: My Awesome wrestling Nephew Sheldon!! Good luck at Districts bud. I KNOW you had a rough night tonight. I want you to know that no matter what happens I think you rock. You are an awesome wrestler......State or not you are a Champion to me.



Second: My favorite NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer. He will be racing in the Bud Shootout for the first time in his career. Never ever ever let anyone tell you Clint that you are NOT a driver cause you are......You have one heck of a fan in Nebraska!!!

OH man....

This week has been some week.

First, on Monday we had our Stock Realty & Auction Mandatory meeting. It was nice to attend the meeting and we had a nice one. It is so nice to see everyone without the pressure to being at an auction. Later in the afternoon as we listened to the weather Ron, Ray and I decided that it was probably a good idea to get one of us girls to Lincoln in case the other girls were delayed by weather...so I was the lucky girl. I packed up the ole Yellow Suitcase and headed to Lincoln with Ray...and without Ron. As much as I hate hotels anymore....it was nice to get a chance to be alone in a hotel and get some scrappin done. Ray, Don, Mark, JB and I went out to eat at Merle's which is our favorite place and man was it good.....seeems that soup we had earlier didn't stick with any of us. Note to the girls....stop putting water in the soup :)

As much as I hoped Tuesday's forecast would be wrong...It wasn't. IT SNOWED. The wind didn't blow till later which help our auction, but the girls still got delayed and I had the pleasure of registering people until they showed up which wasn't too early. Normally I would have been OK with it, but I needed to get home...BAD!! I had something I had to get uploaded and I needed my DSL :) So in the middle of a snowstorm.....I was Clerking....THANK GOD FOR DEB driving home or I would have been a basket case.

Today......it was a Kristin day. I needed to reboot myself as I call it. Do some scrappin, catch up online, check on my NASCAR boys, get my laundry off the pool table....so here I am.........

So because I haven't posted for a while....I wanted to post as a photo.....and here it is....a layout I did about our Shore Excursion to Grand Cayman while on our cruise.......I really like this layout and THIS KIT by Gretchen. I am on Gretchen's creative team and I really enjoy creating layouts for her.....

What to blog about!!

HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I could blog about the fact that I am here in our cabin alone, even though it was my DH's idea to come to the cabin. I think it was a setup to he could drive 8 miles instead of 30 to sell tonight. THERE WAS NO WAY I WAS GOING. An auction did not appeal to me......as much as I love listening to my auctioneer boys...there was NO way tonight!

I am sooooo proud...

Of my Nephew Sheldon. He is quite the little wrestler and I could NOT be happier. Today he won his weight class at a wrestling tournament in Clearwater. I am so glad that I was there and that I brought Grandma to watch him. Here is a layout I did about Shel. His Dad (my brother) shared a bunch of wrestling photos with me and this was my choice to scrap.



AND for his sister Jess. Best wishes tomorrow on your contest Jessica. I love you and I know you can do it!! HUGS HUGS and lots of love to you.

If Clint doesn't make the chase I will put on my big girl panties and admit I read 08 wrong, but if not.........WELLLLLLLLLL you can guarntee a nice letter to the Editor about this!! See here I go again...

with my no posting. Sooooo what can I say.....it has been a very nice weekend. Been home all weekend because I am still not feeling that hot. This could could have killed me I swear.

I have cleaned, scrapped and organized and even packed my bags for this upcoming weekend of being gone. SO far 2008 has been interesting. A cold I just can't shake, but MAN did I get ALOT of scrappin done this weekend.....YEAH!

Not too much else is new....Ronnie is making me steak on the GRILL.....YES a steak on the grill. It was such a beautiful day today. Ron was motivated to get his Land Auction traile sorted and I got a list of stuff as long as my arm done....which makes me very happy.

Well, it is off to eat supper for me....I would post some photos but the only ones I have are auctions ones on Ron's camera.......OK maybe I might later.

Farewell 2007......

Well it is time to say goodbye to 2007. For me it was a good year. It was the year of the 07 in 07. Meaning, a great year for my NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer who drives the 07 car.

I have never been one for resolutions cause I think they put too much stress on a new year. BUT I do like to set goals and I set only one goal for myself to accomplish in 2007 and I did it. Being named to four Scrapbook Creative Teams. Check.

I didn't get to spend as much time with my friend Tommy as I had wished for in 2007, but time will have to be set aside in 2008. I did have a great time with Tommy and Rhonda at Alumni.....never can get tired of those two!

I managed to visit granny in 07. 100 year old granny! WOW! Who is just afew short weeks will turn 101. Amazing. Simply amazing. My niece Alicia inspired me to do a little project for her and I am going to work on that this week. THANKS Alicia for that great idea!

Now, I have a list of two major things to get accomplished in 2008, so by this time next year I hope to have that post for ya.

So to all my wonderful family and friends all of God's blessings in 2008. Know that I love you all and here's to a wonderful 2008! HUGS!!

Merry Christmas One and all.....

Well......this is one Christmas that I really appreciate being home. I WILL NOT go into the whole trip home from our cruise story, but needless to say Delta Airlines, may be flying me free of charge sometime soon!

The main reason for me logging in tonight is to wish all my ONLINE friends and family members and very Merry Christmas today. Much love to each of you and watch for updates of our trip and some Christmas photos.

Cruising for Ron & Kristin....

yes....that is correct. Mr Ronnie Boy and I are going on a cruise is just 6 days. I have mixed feelings. I am soooooo excited about being warm, after all this snow, and having a few days to myself in the sun with some sort of coconut drink.....BUT I am scared as hell that I wont make it home in time for Christmas, we are scheduled to get home on the Saturday before Christmas, but weather happens and it makes me sick just thinking about it. It would be the first time in 38 years that I have missed Christmas, but everyone assures me.....it will OK!
