Well apparently, Nancy, Oscar and Stacey tagged me...so here I am. I wasn't able to get into my blog until now.......partially due to technical stuff and being preoccupied with racin.

More Lake visitors....

I was so happy that my brother George and his precious daugther Cassidy came to visit us on Sunday at the lake....we had so much fun. Boating, eating and Cassidy splashing on the deck. I hope we are able to share alot more time together at our cabin. Here we are. First is Ron, George and Cassidy and Second is George, Cassidy and I! I love my brother and my sweet, sweet niece....now to get my brother Lar out here with Barb and the kids.

Why is it that no matter what I do.....someone always seems to look like a dork in a picture....this time it is Ron. I started a new thing....taking pictures of everyone who visits our Cabin...I missed a couple....but last Saturday night I got our first real visitors. Richard, Pam, Chris and Lynn. Chris works with us and it was such a delight to have these four people as our first guests......THANK YOU and Welcome to the Stock Cabin!! Come back anytime.

Guess what I am doing???

Packing and moving stuff to go to the cabin...WOOOHOOOO! First, it is totally giving me more room in my house and second, it is nice to think that soon we will be enjoying some weekends and nights there. No matter what some say.... I really don't think I will ever completely "move" to the lake....cause I LOVE my house.

What I am very sad about.....is now we have to sell our camper and I love that thing. I am going to take some pictures of it....lots of race memories in there and it makes me so sad to think someone might buy it, but if they do, well such is life and we have a great cabin anyway. I will totally miss the Dutchman......

I am off to take pictures of one of my favorite things I have every owned.....the Dutchman Supreme with it's two glorious slide outs and it's awesome shower!

My Beautiful God daughter....

This past weekend I had the honor of taking my niece and goddaughter's graduation pictures. OMG what a beautiful, wonderful girl my sweet girl has become. She is so photogenic and just plain gorgeous. Smart as a whip and totally talented, but most of all she is my God Daughter....my sweet precious girl.....as long as I live I will adore my sweet niece Jess. She totally inspired me. We are so much alike....this is my very favorite picture I took of her.....I just want to hug her. It brings to me to tears to think of her all grown up, but I know that she won't forget me.......

OK I have been holding out....but here it is!! Our Beautiful New Cabin on Duncan Lakes, Duncan Nebraska. We are as excited as two people can be.....just a few more weeks and it offically ours. What a find. It is exactly what we wanted!!! .....and with the #18 to boot! I am already in love with this place only after being there twice!

Well Ron and I were gone all day having a Ron and Kristin day since Kristin won the Biggest Loser weight loss challenge for the last two week losing 8 pounds, we didn't end up doing at all what either of us planned, so now I am getting punished by having to do laundry until all hours of the night.

The great news about the last two days......our beautiful new kitchen floor is installed and our brand new living and dining room carpet is in. That carpet is like a piece of heaven. First of all, it is NOT pink...thank the lord from above and second of all, it is so soft and comfy my feet feel like they have died and gone to heaven. Our kitchen Dura-Ceramic is my best friend all ready. WOW what a cince to clean. WHY OH WHY didn't I throw out this pain the arse carpet years ago.....THIS ROCKS!

I have a very happy and exciting piece of news, but I am going to wait till later this week to tell everyone so stay tuned for Ron and Kristin's big news.....oh NO we are not pregnant :)

CONGRATULATIONS JACOB ANSON on your third place last night in the A feature of BCR, your best Rookie finish of the season!

Well Jacob Anson it is time for your first official Driver post (cause God knows I have posted about your Dad).......this is your first year as a Modified Driver...for that matter as any kind of Race Car Driver. When I watch you, I have this huge place in my heart for you cause first...I have watched you grow up, second, you race just like your Dad.

When I watch you, there are so many things that remind me of Driver (your Dad). I am so stinkin proud of you. There are lots of hugs saved up just for you. Your a great kid and I love ya like a nephew.

OH and to those who have a doubt this kid is for real.....watch him......he has racin blood in him....and for those who think he gets Special treatment....watch that too....he should have made the A the last two weeks but got S****** out of that. GO ahead mess with me when it comes to Dave and Jake watch little race girl come unglued!

For the asses who didn't think he deserved this........ask his Mom!!

I love you guys!! Dave, Rhonda and Jake....and yes this our "family" time......and I wouldn't miss it for anything.

Well so far June doesn't seem any drier than May....it is RAINING again....and it is Friday.....do you know what that means? It means that water and a dirt race track do not mix.....time will tell if there will be some racing tonight.



Today is the day that the installation process begins on my kitchen floor. YEAH! I am so tired of this filthy dirty, stained carpet. I hate it!! I will be so glad to see it gone. IT was nice carpet and served us well....but it is old and needs to take a trip, so bye bye.



One of my goals for June is to blog more than I did in May, which was 10 times, so look for some more bloggin by me. I am going to try and make it a goal to blog using a picture every time I post.........so my picture for today is.....

Water Water everywhere......

As my Sister-in-law put it "St Edward Swamp" and it was and still is a little bit. After bascially three full days of rain the Ole Beaver Creek said enough and spilled out everywhere. Yesterday was quite the soaked and soggy one.

Here are some pictures......
First one.....this is the shed that is in front of my house. See all that water behind the shed...It is NOT suppose to be there. Second one.....this is the highway that runs East and West infront of my house...well it is a long driveway, but that it our road into Saint Edward. All that water behind the red shed....came from here :)

Third one....Main Street Saint Edward Nebraska. Flooded for the first time since 1971 and it could have been ALOT worse. On the right is the Former Legion building (with the Red Blazer in front) which is currently being remodeled for our offices and on the left is my office. The building with the White Panel on the front with the Salmon colored curtains......After I took this picture it got alot higher....

So that it was our big news for yesterday. I will be posting some Weekend Activites later on this week......I am in the process of moving everything out of my kitchen in anticipation for the arrival of my NEW FLOORING! WHOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!

OH and I forgot.....I told and told everyone I saw that it was going to flood. On Saturday, I saw this "little" guy in my driveway headed West, away from the river, and I said "It is going to flood" but NO one would listen...SEE the turtle knew what the hell he was doing!

One year ago tonight.....

Dave wrecked the race car that he was driving at the Boone County Raceway in Albion. It was a very serious accident and one in which Dave could have been seriously injured, but thank the lord he wasn't.

This is the layout I did for the Funk it Up contest at Scrapforums. This was my Secret...no one really knew how bad that wreck upset me. It was a secret I carried with me for months. I thought I lost this layout when my computer crashed so I was thrilled to find it. Here it is in all it's glory. This is a very heartfelt layout that came straight from my gut. I don't know if you can read the journaling, but this is a good one. This just happens to be one of my favorite layouts.

20 years.....

My oh my how my life has changes since I was a High School graduate. I might be alot over weight and not as pretty, but I do have this......the love of a wonderful man, the respect and support of people who not only work for us but are a part of us, the most wonderful set of families and extended families that god can give two people, and a business that is our heart and soul. So when people are looking at me....I will remember what my sweet online Lori told me "let me tell you something first...your spirit is one i will cherish forever...cow or not you will be there and be proud of your accomplishments.... you have your life and ron a great business...your a lucky lady"

I HEART you Lori!! I really do! That totally made me ready for something I am not so comfortable with. Another one of my blessings....my beautiful, talented, supportive and gracious online friends......I HEART you ALL!

Driver Still has it!

Every given summer if you were to ask me what will put the biggest smile on my face and make me feel absolutely great for a whole week?

One simple answer would come out of my mouth. An A Feature Win for Dave at the Races. Well, so far this season.....I have been smilin alot! Another A win. How great is that!!

I would find nothing more pleasureable in 07 other than Dave winning the Modified Championship at BCR and he is well on his way! GOOD JOB DAVE!

This is still one of my very favorite pictures of Dave. All those years of racin and the person you could depend on the most was you! I have always admired you, for being who you are. But most of all........watching you love racin so much. You are my hero Dave ande there will never be a time when you are not my driver.

Dilly Dally....

I have been Dilly Dallying around with my house and have been totally slackin on Scrappin, bloggin....just about everything computer related. BUT then again. I do live in my house and not in my computer...we ll not yet anyway.

Well, this week has been one of those weeks that has flown by. I set a goal to get moving on all these final house projects so I can get my house back together. It has been since Dec. 9th since we first started on all these little projects and still have LOTS to go. Mostly we are doing these in anticipation of hosting Ron's class reunion next year. Oh yeah....Ron says "It is all goning to be in the shed....Yeah been there......no one can stay out of our house :)

Ron and I hosted a Mother's Day feast for our Momma's at our house. It was such a nice day and we really did enjoy it. Ron made the best Steaks ever and then of course we had the Mommies vs Mommies Fooz Ball game......seems the boys had a little trouble staying away from the all female games. Below are the pictures from the Momma's Tournament. They are so blurry but still worth posting......The first one is my Mom and my SIL...funny my Mother covered her mouth because she said "Shit"! The second picture is Rn's Mom and His sister Angie.

Tomorrow we have a huge Auction in York for Nebraska Public Power District. Now I am normally fond of that auction, but yesterday while setting up the computers and cleaning the Truck I jammed my finger underneath the printer and cut my finger nail in half. When I cut it is poked right into my finger. Bleeding like crazy and hurting like....well ALOT! So it is very sore and tender today. Not good news for the Auction Clerk who types everything in........ (I am not giving you the finger...I am showing you the finger)

Well, I was trying to post some pictures, but am getting an error from blogger when trying to upload. So we will give the picture thing a shot later......GOT EM!

I did this layout about my Sister-in-law for the Paula Duncan Design Team. I SOOOO love this great kit, but I also love this layout. I also loved what I wrote: I am very proud to say that she is married to my brother. I have known my sister-in-law for nearly 2o years now and I can honestly say that she adds alot to my life. She is a tremendous wife and mother. She is such a good person, she works hard, she is very smart and always is willing to help out when she can. I know I can ask for advice or ask assitance. I love my Sister-in-law! She Rocks!

Meeting Annie!!

This whole day started out with me being Ms Crabby Pants and it has just gotten better and better and better.

First, I found out that I am going on a special trip this summer and I was SOOOOOOO happy!! I mean real happy. Real real scrappy happy :)

Then......I logged on to NASCAR.com and found my NASCAR Driver Clint Bowyer is sitting on the NASCAR POLE FOR DARLINGTON!!!!!

Then I met Annie....sweet Annie from my favorite scrapbooking site. See the pictures. The First picture is of Annie and I (I am in Yellow) and the other is of Annie and I with our big truck. Annie loved that big truck :)

Then....my Driver Jr. texts me and tells me he won his Heat race tonight in Albion, only his third week in a race car!! YEAH!

Now, I am going to Eat Chinese and that is my favorite food in the whole world.........

Ahhhh how I did miss Dirt Track racin!! It is great to have the boys back on the track. I would like to Congratulate my pal Dave on a great run at US 30 Speedway last night. I know you took a beatin and I know your back was killin you, but you still managed a great top 5 win. Jake your first time out at this track...you did fine.

Good luck tonight boys!! I will miss you. I hate missing Dave get that Frist Place trophy tonight, but you that is where my heart will really be......
