The good news and the bad.....

First the good news...I am not dead, sick and no one has died that is close to me, but I can't not attend the 2008 Scrapfest as planned. LONG drawn out story, and NOTHING makes me sadder than this, but it is unavoidable and really ticks me off, but life goes on and you all know I love you!

OK this is cool.......

This is the first time I have ever done one of these but this is a digital computer desktop template I completed and man was this ever fun! This is my favorite NASCAR Driver Clint Bowyer and he will be my desktop backdrop the whole month of August. I thought Clint could use some extra good carma. THIS WAS SO FUN!!!

SO much....

for coming home to the lake following the City of Lincoln Auction, going swimming, going on a boat ride and taking the golf cart out. We both crashed not more than an hour being home and then crashed again. We woke up in time to watch Clint race the Nationwide race and then went to bed permantely. MAN.......that was a long and HOT day. It could have been worse if the sun would have been blazing on us all day, but we were lucky enough to have clouds till the last three minutes of the auction.

You know it is going to be a hot day when you arrive at 6:45 in the morning and you are sweating :) hehehehe....that is HOT and HUMID.

I can't believe....

...that my babies are sitting this close to each other without killing one another. Button and McCook sitting on the chairs on the porch. No fighting. No hissing...just both sitting there looking so cute.

I love them both no matter what......and when I am gone..I miss them terribly!

Island party.......

at the lake....and the photos are stuck on my Camera....for some reason my Photo card was missing and my photos are stuck on the internal part of my camera. I can't find the cord and I can't share the fun we had today.....eating and swimming.....and Ron, Tim, Marla and June winning the Bottle of Tattoo Rum....way to go guys!!

of my nephew Sheldon playing Baseball at the Legion District Baseball Tournament in Central City, even though they didn't win, he had some great plays and of course.......he is the best player (I am partial, but sure I am right)

I am so use to him wrestling that it took me a while to get use to him playing baseball and the fact that he has red on and not blue :) hehehehe....I am proud of you Shel....and I will always be your biggest fan!

Pile of Potatoes...

This layout just cracks me up....mainly because my goofy niece thought it would be fun to pose with her huge pile of deep friend potatoes!

27 Dresses.............

was the movie of the night tonight. Ron and I borrowed that movie from the Newman Grove Boschen's and decided to watch it last night after returning from Kansas. We both had more fun giggling over the fact that the whole first part of the movie reminded us of the wedding we attended over the week.

We both enjoyed laughing and thought that the movie was fun and cute. We always like a movie that ends happy :) and 27 Dresses sure did have a happy ending.

I however, wasn't the happiest person when I arrived home to still find two trailers and a forlift parked on the cement by our shed. Did we not ask it to be removed??? Apparently this is a very diffcult task...and people wonder why I get so frustrated!!!!!
